“Jesus my heart longs for you…Jesus I have nothing to offer…Jesus it’s so hard to obey”
Written from the perspective of the servant at the Wedding of Cana, you can’t help thinking to yourself, who does my heart long for? what can I offer?…how can I obey?…
But above all, Jesus only desires for you to come as you are and trust that He is capable of all things.
In the Wedding of Cana of Galilee, the servants did as Jesus asked them to do. What was the result? the best wine the master of the feast and everyone else had seen!! Had the servants not obeyed Jesus, then the miracle would never have taken place.
Often we expect things from God and question why He has not responded. But the question really should be, are we heeding and submitting ourselves to do the will of God?
