From Temptation to salvation is an album that takes you through the journey of Great Lent week by week. The album starts from Johan’s fast two weeks before lent with a song about the life of Jonah from the whale to victory at Ninevah.

From the prodigal son from when he left his father’s house to when he returned joyfully to his father’s embrace, The paralysed man who took up his bed and walked again, the Samaritan woman who met Jesus at the well, the paralysed man at the pool, the blind man who was healed by Jesus, are all stories that we read on Sundays of the Lent and you will find in this album.

The Album then continues this journey into Holy Week with the thief on the right side of the Cross who asked Our Lord to remember him when He came into His kingdom and even Our Lord Jesus from His darkest hour at Golgotha to the triumph of the resurrection.

The contemporary Christian songs on this album truly lead the listener into this Great Lent journey out of their temptation to their salvation as they live the lives of all those who travelled this path before them. As we listen to these Christian songs we feel the pain and overwhelming nature of temptation but at the same time we are presented with the hope that through Our Lord Jesus Christ and through his pain and suffering on the cross we will be lead to salvation.

The Album also has three songs that will take you through this journey from week to week to help you memories the Weeks of Lent at the same time. One of these songs is a kids song that has been a popular song used in Sunday school classes around the world to help the kids memorise the weeks of lent.
