Forgive Us
O’ Lord hear us, help us
The groaning of our hearts and spirit cry out to You.
Forgive us our sins. Forgive us our impure thoughts.
Forgive us for our lack of works.
Help us, have mercy on us O’ Lord.
What are we without You,
But empty vessels of no purpose or worth?
O’ Lord abide in us.
Be the oil that gives us life,
That gives us direction and leads us into the path of righteousness.
O’ Lord please help us to understand Your love
To abide in Your love
And live in Your love,
To show it to others as You have to us.
