Born For Us
Christ was born for our sake
And came down from heaven above
To save us and heal every ache
As a glorious expression of His everlasting love
O Holy Virgin Mary
You bore to us the Son of Man
Clothed with glorious divinity
To fulfil his earthly plan
He humbled himself in a small manger
And chose to be born of the Virgin Mary
Christ spread his wings to protect us from danger
And the miracles He performed on earth did vary
Christ’s incarnation gave us light
He was the shepherd guidingHis sheep
You set an example to us so bright
And taught us how to have a relationship with you so deep
The true bread of life descended
In the pure virgin’s womb
Without change He was incarnate
To rescue His children from sin and doom
